Sorry, ranty whinge alert.
As some of you may know I have been looking for a loan home for my lad as I can't afford to keep him anymore. I've reached the stage now that I can't afford another months livery.
Had a few people view and I had a girl really interested in him, been and ridden 4 or 5 times brought her mum up, had a lesson with her trainer on him etc etc. They were starting to get the measure of each other and although I'm still mortified at the prospect of him going and out competing with someone else this summer instead of me (after years of blood sweat and tears to get him to this point) I was starting to feel ok about it and that I had found the right home.
Now shes not sure if she can have him as she hasnt decided whether shes going to uni in september or not :(
I don't know what to do now :( I've run out of time, the end of the month is only a week away and I'm up the proverbial street with no paddle :(
Gah!

I was just thinking this but I'm not sure how I would find someone else for him while he was at another yard?

In somerset Mosmum.
Yes I suppose maybe its an option, although quite unsettling for him I would think, he doesnt settle easily anyway. I have been playing the 'things may change in a minute' card since august though, I'm beginning to think I'm not destined for any happy ending :(

Have you tried ag or equine collages? they are always looking for horses, although i am not sure what they do with them outside term time.

Hey,
Could you pm me his details if you are still looking? I'm in Gloucestershire, an experienced ex-horse owner and on the hunt for something on loan. :)
