Am offically old and do not bounce. Also looked very silly . Having not jumped for quite a while, I had a go at a very little clear round course. I offically have no core stablility any more. Having just sat on my lovely boy as he carried me round we got to the end ( clear ) I leant forward to pat him he went left. I didnt . HOW ? now hobbling ++ and feeling simultaneously silly and sorry for myself. came home adamant was not going to jump again till lost weight and got fit but just eaten packet of chocolate biscuits to help the bruising.

Ahh yes. Chocolate biscuits can cure all ills. You'd better have some more, after all you don't want lasting bruising do you?!

Seriously, hope you (and your pride) aren't too badly hurt! Hey, at least you went clear!!

isn't it funny how we horsey people sometimes completely forget that falling off a horse is really a very likely possibility! cheer up :)

thank you ! have just had cake to help the bits the biscuits missed. am admiring my pretty rosette - that helps too !, My poor pony ( all 16 .3 of him ) was ever so confused bless him . He just stood looking at me. Had just bought an RS-tor to improve my balance too but forgot to hold on to it at the vital moment - that was a good use of money !

JLD - can I join your club....??

I fell off today and definitly didn't bounce - I am not looking forward to the morning as its guarenteed that I will be very sore ( still not sure if its a broken rib or bruised back muscles ) now sat sulking on the sofa.

Well done on the rosette.......................
