Oh dear! Saddle on ebay...

I keep checking ebay to see if my saddle is on there that was stolen friday night amongst other things

I don't see anything wrong with their pics myself

The picture taken from above makes it look like one stirrup bar is set back further than the other... that would make you sit twisted, surely???

It mightn't be the case IRL but they should have straightened them up for the pic because it doesn't do it any favours....

Looks fine to me, tis just worn which you would expect from an older saddle, if its still got life in it and could sit comfortably on someones horse why not sell it

It doesnt look twisted, it just looks like the photo wasn't taken squarely.
I don't buy saddles on line anymore - I value my horses backs!!!!

However if I did, I'd rather buy a used saddle which clearly shows all the scuffs, than buy a saddle with pictures that have been airbrished, or taken in a dull light to hide its wear and tear.

The description made me laugh . It comes with "numner" LOL :D

? There are several photos they have taken to try to show the used condition of it.

If I sell any items in "used" condition on EBay I always put a picture of the damage in question and mention it in the description. That way people know EXACTLY what they are getting and can't complain.

If she just left that ad as it was without pictures of the scuffs I doubt someone would be happy with what they received!

There was a saddle on ebay the other day.
Its description said it had asemetrical(sp?) stitching on the back of the panels, and that the panels where slightly odd shapes.I watched it,more out of interested to see if any one would buy it,and sure enough someone did.
It was cheap enough at £50,but would do alot of damage to your horses back if not dispersing weight evenly.
