Well some of you know that I am planning on selling Spooks in the spring, and I have a little TB mare by Sir harry Lewis arriving in march to bring on and sell. I would also have to sell one of the youngsters at some point as grazing is restricted and that was always the plan. I have always been quite good at selling the ones I have planned to as need the grazing, now however I have been offered the use of 4 small paddocks opposite 9free of charge) ...I can see this being a bit of a disaster, as no doubt I will manage to fill them with something

Also means there is no pressure on selling the new TB mare, which means she may as well stay for a year and be a bit more advanced when I sell her

I can see myself never parting with any of them

Please someone give me a kick around march and make me advertise Spook

I know, I am very lucky to have such a kind non horsey nieghbour with lots of land, she doesnt want anything on them in the winter, but get to fill them from march till october

lol!! I have similar issues....rent a yard so doesnt change money however many we have....fatal it is!!

I've got four at the moment, its quite hard isn't it, their youngsters too so the longer I keep them more their worth, might as well keep the 2 1/2 (He's 3 in may) till summer and break him...The shetlands going no where...Parker will be kept till fixed and reached his jumping limit, and can't see Jesse going anywhere - ever. Oh dear.
