my youngster will be 2 in may,when i brought him he was advertised to make 15hh,he is a welsh D x traditional gypsy cob,well he is standing at 15hh now

prob a little bit bigger, some horses will shoot up when they are 3yo, some wont get much bigger........

How big were the welsh d and cob he came from?
 
No idea, but just thought you would like to know that my cob (Bodey in my sig) was 14’2hh at 3, and now at 6 he is 15’1hh (measured)! So your lad could make 16hh, if he is anything like Bodey!

most welshies grow in height till they are around three then usually just mature and fill out. you may just find he ills out more than anything.
