Oh for Goodness Sake! Help me name this colt...please.

I liked the Icarus suggestion - I think it really suits him!! What a character! :D

Actually, having said it in my head a few times, it doesn't slip of the tongue very easily! Perhaps you should just call him Sunny :D

I've got an Icarus! It doesnt slip off your tongue easily, but it really suits my horse.

Another vote for Midas or Icarus.

I did like Apple, but i suppose when he's a stunningly beautiful striking grown up boy, Apple is just not going to do him justice. I think Midas and Icarus are suitable names for when he's all grown up and powerful.

Also, surely he's going to be too big to fit in the post soon? I have been saving up some Thorntons for you! The best are some strawberry champagne truffles. :D

I like the name 'Irish' totally off the thought of gold, but I think he has a lovely cheeky face and if he was mine (yes please!) that's what I would call him.

I think he is delish!

I'd go for Bobbin...as in the red red robin goes bob bob bobbin along. Nice and short and he looks bouncy!

He is now officially Apollo 2. Everything else was poo-poo'd.:( I'll still just call him 'The Colt'

I have been kind of outvoted by everyone who knows him, it suits him better than it suited last years Apollo (now re-named, not by me, Billy Bullet!)

Recent photos in PG shortly, he's getting to be a very big, muscley boy.

Thankyou.

Not sure about the colour, he appears to be shedding out darker, foals though, who can tell? I have three palominos and none of them are the same:rolleyes:

We need a first come, first served list!;)

Full sibling due next year, and this mare (Juno) is also due in March 2011 by Zeus, that should be interesting, bets on it being a chestnut?
