Can I have some MAJOR positive Vibes for Finny.

A lump started to come up on the back of his neck yesterday - today it is the size of a golf ball... am off to vets tonight to get it checked out... I am SSSOOOO worried

Try not to panic, it could be something really simple, hopefully a visit to the Vet will sort it out and put your mind at rest.

If it has come up that quickly, it is probably something really benign. don't be worrying - he will pick up on that. Go to the vets and see what they say - might be an abcess or something.

Try not to worry KJFIT, I know easier said than done as I found a wart like lump on Beasties face a few weeks ago and I was so worried, but I took her to the vets and it turned out to be a button tumour, which is benigh. It's now nearly totall gone.

It shouldn't be anything to worry about if it's come up so quick. Usually they tend to be a reaction to something, or sometimes even just a cist (sp?)

Sinus can develop throughout their life apparently - BUT are predominantly found as young pups.

Vet was fab - looked at it and *phew* thinks it could be inflammed scar tissue as it is between skin/muscle as opposed to 'attached' to either. Got to monitor it for the next 10 days and if it is still there go back but not to worry just yet.

She also kept saying what a wonderful boy Finn was and that he was her favourite 'big dog' on their books AND that he was impeccably behaved.. even when he was desperatley trying to get to the kitten in the travel cage!!

Man what is it with the dogs on here just lately! Seems like every post you open is nasty. Matty sends lots of RR hugs and licks to Finn.
