they where very cagey i ask if they had passport they said not on them they didnt know what she was like xc they had her six weeks selling for friend whos getting married i asked if i cud hav her number they said she didnt want to speak to anyone

Yeah, Id leave it. Sounds very odd that you're not allowed to speak to the owner... screams problem horse to me!

It could be the owner is selling through a friend/dealer because she cant cope with the selling thing, anyone who has done it knows it is a traumatic experience. Might be worth a visit, perhaps you could write down what you want to know and ask them to aske her, or pass on your number so she can ring you.

Or it could be that the horse is a total loon

If the horse is placed with someone to sell its because she doesnt want the hassle herself! cant say i blame her either its a nightmare with all the timewasting calls...
