Today he looked after my daughter (not his) she is 12 so not to hard a job, he went and brought all the food for dinner, cooked dinner all whilst I went for a 2 hour hack over the ashdown forest

What a star, he says it is for his own good as Im a grumpy madam if I dont ride!!

And forgot to say he runs a 4x4 so that I can tow when all he really wants in a motorbike! and he sold his Audi TT to buy the 4x4!!!!

Where did you find him? and do they take trade ins?!!

mmm! I was thinking of a trade in too! mines not cottoned on to the fact that no matter how much he moans about me spending too much time at the yard I will do it anyway and if he just let me get on with it it would be a much more peaceful household!lol

My OH is great to

. He never moans about how much time i spend with my 4 legged friends. He will quite often just turn up at the yard and say hi to them all. He will help with jobs like stacking the hay and mending things. He also gives me money for feed/hay/wormers or just treat me.

Been together 21 years so he knows how much i love the horses and him.

Mine is too in every respect, but persuading him to let me have a horse was proving impossible, yet when I read an ad for a share (which in the event turned out to be from a work colleague of his advertising for a friend) he suggested I reply, and he even came to see her with me.

Mind you, he still needs to get over his mental block about horses - when I uploaded the pics I took off our phones I kept saying "Oh, isn't she pretty", and all he could say was "It's just a horse".

I'll get him interested though - it just takes time, doesn't it!

Stop showing off!! Actually mines not that bad, he provides grazing, hay , stable, lets me charge all feed and stuff I need down to him at local merchants (hes a farmer, it has its pluses!) . Hes crap about the house, but I can forgive him for that!

Mine bought me my first ned as a wedding pressie! And only went a little bit pale 6 years later when I said we (do you like that? WE) had to take on another rescue horse coz she had been so appallingly treated by humans that her story made me cry and I needed to show her not all humans are b*st*rds. And he's not particularly fond of horses: calls Sunny our poverty trap and says a horse is just a way to turn £10 notes into garden fertiliser lol!
