Went to a show on sunday with ben and a few others from my yard, I tied ben up to a tie ring with a net, a few other horses were scattered around and also onto the wagon next to us, a car was parked next to wagon but someone decided to put their horse on the tie ring next to car. I had asked someone to keep an eye on my horse while I went to pay entry fees.
Anyway on my way back, got a phone call saying my horse is going mad. Bit unusual I thought as my horse doesnt have the energy to go mad as he is the most laid back horse you will ever meet, I then get told hes kicked a car. Bit more unusual I thought as my horse dont kick out willy nilly.
Anyway get back to wagon my horse had been moved right next to the car on the tie ring, I got really upset as a bit of damage to the car but I wouldnt have been stupid enough to tie my horse their.
But I then realised my horse was actually far too close to the car to kick near the wing mirror it would have had to have been a pony that kicked it, and you would know about it if my 18hh horse kicked a car.
I knew the owners of the car, and not one person thought ben could have done that to the car as he was too close and is totally out of character, at a show he is so doped up its untrue.
Anyway after much discussion I had come to the conclusion that someone else did the damage on the car and they blamed my horse and moved him to cover up what happened. By the way the person who rang me does not like me one bit so it kind of all makes sense.
Then today My friend was speaking to a teacher at school and it turns out it wasnt my horse that did it, it was someone elses, she had the proof as she was just recording her kids messing about and then happened to look up as the horse was kicking the car.
It has got me so mad, to blame my horse what would you do? The woman who rang me is not young either shes about 50 so what is her excuse, It was weird how it all happened as noone saw anything even tho the driver of the wagon he was sat right next to the car in his cab? He would have seen what horse did it, unless he moved it
Sorry for the rant I am slightly peeved.
