OH MY GOD!!! I have met my first menopausal YO

Do you have a tenancy agreement?

Only asking because- amongst other things....in mine it says I am to be left alone to 'enjoy the land in peace' blah blah..... other legalese stuff .....which basically translates as ...as along as I pay my rent on time the land owner can only turn up to inspect at prior arrangement.....I only ever see her on rent days ( every 8 weeks) and we have a 10 minute chat and thats it.....

BTW.....me and land owner are both hurtling headlong to menopause city- but as far as I know neither of us is insane ( or maybe I am....you tell me:eek::D)

That sounds awful! Glad you have found somewhere to move them too though! Are you moving them to your friend's yard temporarily or permanently? I know quite a few yards in the area if you are looking for something more permanent. Feel free to PM me. :)

ahh i only said because it's a bit of a running joke re YO's and the menopause.

The house ajoins the land, so I learnt when she wasnt there and only went up then because she just annoyed the hell out of me and I just wanted to do what I had to do and leave. I'd been looking for somewhere else for weeks.

There was no contract :(

She's saying I owe extra money for stuff she's bought and for next month's rent? But as far as I am concerned if I'm leaving this month (she's made it impossible for me to stay!) then I don't need to pay the next month? (I pay in advance, as always). Besides, I've had to arrange emergency livery, make hundreds of phonecalls, and sort transport, so why should I pay that? If I'd been allowed to leave as planned then I'd have given the extra month as agesture of goodwill. Then on the other hand if it makes leaving more peaceful maybe I should pay it? I don't know what to do on that one.

She's apt to doing stupid stuff like feeding them and leaving nylon headcollars on them, so I'm worried sick. I do have someone popping up to keep an eye on them (though it's going to have to be literally over the fence peek) over the next 48 hours but I've been advised to not go near myself for my own safety. On the day, if she causes trouble I've the number of a police officer I can call for an escort, but I don't think we'll need it as there'll be six of us.

Roll on 48 hours....

Personally I wouldn't even be waiting 48 hours... I wouldn't even be sitting on a computer right now! I'd be removing my horses as we speak! You dont know what this woman could do... she could disappear with them!

the person who is moving them for me has to work.

The police have arranged for that day and time so they're ready incase they're called.

She wouldn't intentionally hurt them, shehasn't got the guts, notr has she the guts to take them. She's been warned by the police she's liable for arrest if she does anything stupid.
