Had a laproscopy last week so am off riding for a while so Hubby had a lesson on Sidney by himself whilst I watched.
Our instructor was off so one of the others took the lesson and as the last lesson had left out some barrels etc they used them to do some work on turns and bending etc.
After a while new instructor suggested putting a fair few trotting poles down to see how he would go over them. Hubbie trotted him down to have a look at them as he can be spooky about silly things and we've not used poles yet with him.
I wish I'd had a video camera as Sidneys face suddenly LIT up like he was the happiest horse alive.
As he approaches Sid prances neatly on the spot, gathers himself up and clears the lot of them in one leap! He then ambles neat as you like over to me at the gate as if to say " did you see that mum? Was I good? Was I?"!!
The instructors face was priceless! Quote "I've never seen one clear all of them like that - think we now know he likes jumping"!!!
I think we might have unleashed the kanga in him!!
