Oh No! Another pair of leaking Muck-Boots!!!

Now the weather has changed (not exactly for the better), I've been dapping around in my Muck-Boots stable shoes........... and have discovered they've starting leaking!

I can't even remember where exactly it was I bought them, but I don't think it was that long ago; probably about this time last year and I don't think that's very good wear TBH. I've bought MuckBoots before, and this has happened (OK so dunno WHY FFS I bother to buy them BUT they are a very handy little footwear item).

So - just wonder whether anyone else has had this problem? When they first came on the market they seemed to last for years and years without failing - I'm very disappointed.

Dunno whether anyone can recommend a similar style of "waterproof shoe"??? Am sick and tired of coming in from the yard with wet gunky socks!!
 
Yes I had some and they lasted several months at best. I was disappointed as I'd heard people say on here how well they lasted. Wrong.
Thing is though, the people that have had theirs years obviously got the good ones before the quality goes downhill due to demand, like most other brands seem to. I take it with a pinch of salt now when people say how many years their boots have lasted :)

Can't recommned anything I'm afraid, I;ve never found anything that really lasts.
 
Ive had some muck boots since January and now I can feel every lump bump and stone on the yard as the soles are so thin...not sure if they leak or Ive got sweaty feet lol!
 
Crikey. My first pair lasted three years and my current pair are in their third year! Maybe I am just lucky but I love my boots
 
Mine have always been fab - have six pairs between three of us, my current pair only had since June but all the others for YEARS and they've been amazing. No leaks, no rubs, nice and warm.

However I've always had the proper wellie type boots (muck masters, agris, and tacks) never the shoes.
 
I have had my muck boots for 2-3 years now and have had no problems. The sole is really thick too, I can't feel a thing.
 
I'm fed up with buying various neoprene boots as they've all lasted a few months & then started leaking through splits that occur on the creases that form as you walk. I've now bought some 'Rigger Wellies' from Wickes, they're basically wellies but fleece lined. They've got steel toe caps which I like around horses & the sole is good. They haven't been tested for warmth yet but I can live with cold but not cold & wet!.

I got through four pairs of muck boots in under six weeks. The most expensive pair were around £65 and lasted me the drive home before the heel detached from the upper! In the end I no longer had the nerve to go back to the shop and bought a pair online, sadly they sent the wrong size, by this time I was so sick of it that I gave them to my SiL, they looked to be lovely boots, but also fell apart within a month!
 
Muck boots just dont last at all so I bought a pair of the Roc ones very similar neoprene type boot, two cracks around the ankle after two months and a split in one foot, so they went back got a new pair exactly the same thing happened wont buy them again and for £80 they are not cheap, am wearing the other halfs wellies at the moment only two sizes too big nothing a couple of pairs of socks wont fix.
 
Muck boots rubbed me terribly on one heel ... I persevered wearing plasters trying to "break them in" but after 5 months gave in and let my friend have them, they were fine on her but only lasted about 6 weeks before they started leaking :/
