No, I use the XC, are there people out there who remember some perm fences from more than 4 years ago and shows more than 10 years ago, it will help with the application?
Ask everyone you know, photos will help
We've been to have sj lessons with Russ a few times, and as dingle said hes a really lovely fun guy and a fantastic trainer. Im sure some people compalin just for the sake of it sometimes, it only takes one person to moan, and a load others to jump on the bandwagon, to destroy something thats taken so many years and a lot of heart, soul and dedication to to build up. Im sure if it was football, racing or tennis etc there would be no such problems.
BTW i have got some photos, but only about a year old
maybe if loads of us write in support it might help
or petition type thing ?, your right Nat_Gem if it was football everythign woudl be fine! and its in the country side theres goign to be horsey people everywhere and trailers and lorys and tractor are all part off it !
its a shame its so far away form em id love to be a livery there
Count me in for that petition clare, or anything else that you think might help. Have just spoken to my YO and friend, who also knows Russ well as we went for lessons together. She has had some recent dealings with planners, and thinks a petition would be a really good idea, she also knows ALOT of people so you can count me in for 100+ names already
How ridiculous!! They don't close cricket or football stadiums even though they cause chaos on the roads! I regularly go to boomerang as its one of the best XC facilities around, particularly for the youngsters! Would be a huge shame if it were to shut.
What they need to do is get people to come in from the opposite direction, rather than up the tiny access road - that way, you would firstly not block narrow roads with horseboxes, and secondly, wouldn't pass any houses.
Surely they could put that in planning conditions as part of the access rules?
I can't say I've ever ridden there myself, previously living in Essex and now Scotland, however I have obviously read about it in the H&H cross-coutry guides and there was also a show that was on Horse and County where the Fredericks went there. I think it was shown in their series 'Team Fredericks' twice at least!
In a sport where we constatly hear of injuries and even deaths, it is a shame that clever courses built to increase confidence in horses and riders is at risk.
Maybe with the impressive list of professional riders that use the site we could all do something to keep it going. Go Russ!!!
