Hmmm - I seem to have a cough and a sore throat this morning. Don’t think it is Covid 19, I think it’s a cold... but the guidance seems to say I need to self isolate anyway???

So apologies in advance because I’ll be even more bored than when working from home.....? At least I have self isolating company (not sure where Marty has gone!)

Hope you feel better soon Lev. There seem to be lots of horrible things going round whether or not they are Covid-19. We have all had a vile cold which is definately not Covid but still made us all feel grim for a week. My boss was v v irritated that I had to self isolate (i.e not work!) for something that clearly wasn't Corona related but rules is rules!!

Yes I do feel a bit unsure about the whole self isolation thing, but the NHS symptom checker thing seems to say ‘better to be safe than sorry’? I have a job interview on Friday too (video conferencing!) so I hope it’s all gone by then ?

A relative has been ‘off sick’ with a horrid cough and cold for 2 weeks. He was told immediately to stay at home. He works in hospital building management so he has been working from home.

You are doing the right thing.

Thank you ? Yes I’ve had first round interviews for 2 different jobs and have got through to the second stage of interviews for both jobs - one company is going ahead with recruitment (hence interview on Friday) but the other company has put recruitment on hold! At least I have another possible option if Friday doesn’t work out ?

I think my dogs are sick of the sight of me now. This is my 6th week off sick from work, I’ve never been around the house as much in my life! We were self isolating before it became compulsory
