Today my Daughter went hunting, nothing new in that but... she did everything herslf, did other horses, turned herself and horse out, to a very good standard. I only had to turn up at meet for a medicinal glass of port and a social She has been doing them since she was tiny and loading her ponies for years and is more than capable.but even so I felt proud but very old!!

That really is something to be proud of. I dream of that day! How old is she? How many more years of hard slog do I have to go?

It's terrifying- my sister's been doing that for ages and now hunts with 3 small children to look after (she's 17, they're aged between 6 and 10!). It's scary how adult she looks setting off with the littlies in tow- they all look immaculate as well, which makes me :D as I taught her to plait!
