Oh No, my instructor is off on holiday for two weeks, how will I cope?

I have to say that schooling just isn’t the same without her shouting at me. It always seems to come together so much better when I’m being told what to do. And I’m more motivated when she is around.

Does anyone else rely on their instructor like I do? Anybody else miss their lessons, or am I just sad?
 
Yes I'm the same. It all starts to come apart at the seams if i miss my weekly lesson. He was schooling his horse when I was riding today and I was concious of putting a lot more effort in because I didn't want to look bad!
 
I had my first lesson in ages today because of injury and illness. I really doubt that I would have ridden with the howling wind and rain that we had today but I actually ended up riding in just a T shirt, haven't done that for at least a month. Have booked instructor in for next lesson and can't wait.

Have you got a video camera? I find that I concentrate much more when I'm being videoed, I can look at it and shout at myself and then I can post it on here and have other people cc me
 
Haha Yeh, I can never school for very long without my instructor, I lose track and forget what I'm meant to be doing

Good idea. I don’t have a camera but GinaGem (my sis) does so maybe I should get her to video me? Then you lot can all constructive criticise me!!

You dont need any help - you did just fine on your own today!! He looked super!

Hey if you want someone to shout at you - i can volunteer - cant say i would be shouting anything constructive though - you know more than me - but i am good with a camera - well as long as your not jumping that is!!!

Thanks but I do need shouting at! Even if you could just shout a few ‘hands up’, ‘right flexion’ etc. then that would make me feel a bit better!

And big thanks for coming and watching me and Bodes in the rain today, it was great having a girly day!

I feel like that with my jump lessons - I usually have one once a week or at th emost I leave it 2 weeks, but my jump trainer is away now until after xmas
