OH NO! Will this horse grey out?

my horse is rabicano and e has goggles and does get more greys each year (he is 23 now though) when I bought him at 10 he was black with a little roaming and a racoon tail and some ragged socks and was initially thought to be sabino.

He looks steel grey when clipped out and now his head is almost totally grey but his main colour is black, he hs even developed spots over the years that he didn't have when I bought him :)

When he was about 13

What a lovely colour!

My friend has a simply cracking chestnut Irish mare, had a foal expecting him to get to around 16 H&H and as he was born a lovely chestnut, be like his mum.

At 4, he is now gray and nearly 17 hh. Talk about not only not getting what was asked for but you thought had been delivered!

The stallion must have been grey then?
