I have just been emailed all the times for the dressage comp tomorrow and they have only put me down for the Walk and Trot and not the Prelim 10. It seems each person is allotted time to do two tests one straight after the other and as I am in the middle I don't suppose they will be able to change it now either. I am not sure if its hardly worth going now.

Its my fault because originally I only entered the W&T but then rang up a couple of days later to put me down for the Prelim 10 but am guessing the organiser didn't get my message. Damn!
 
Panic over - very nice organiser has given me another slot as someone has pulled out! Not expecting much - haven't even ridden the test due to horrendous weather and there is no warm up at the venue! That's if we even get there without being blown over.
 
Hope you have a good day....and the weather doesn't defeat you! I have fingers crossed for improvements by Weds night for my test.

Today I went to local WSRC dressage winter league. Considering I haven't been able to school my horse for 2 weeks therefore was not even able to practise the test, have only been able to ride the end of the lane and back this week due to floods - we did incredibly well!

There is no warm up at the venue so the judges allowed us 5 mins in the school before our test and for the W & T I got 63.5% but once home and studied my sheet my scores should have added up to 66%!! Really pleased with that.

For Prelim 10 - straight after - I lost her a bit and she started resisting me. Also on the left 20 m working canter it took two attempts to get her on the right leg - but I still got 58.6%!

The judges comments were excellent, really helpful and encouraging and she picked up everything where I know I make mistakes.

I am really looking forward to the next one and hopefully improving on all my errors todays. Also I am trying to get my daughter interested - she could easily have done that W&T!
