Oh now I remember why I used to pay someone to clip!!!!

Because it is harder than it looks, it's dirty, you get hair everywhere and I take ages for my horse to look like a tiger!!!!

I'm not kidding you I think I have hair in my teeth! He looks dreadful with stripes and he got that p'd off with me taking ages he refused to let me do any more and now has uneven legs, a hairy wotsit and a hairy patch near his tail....... off to buy a exercise sheet to cover my shame..... and give my friend her clippers back with a warning never to lend me them again!!!!

Dare I say, does it really matter if it's not perfect as long as you've got the bits off that get sweaty? I'm sure practice will make perfect! (and you are saving yourself money - spend it on something to cheer yourself up!)

I HATE clipping - you end up with hair everywhere regardless of what you wear, in your bra, inside your ears, up your nose....the list goes on.

Sadly I own two irish cobs who have coats like yaks and have clipped one of them 6 times already this winter, the other 5. If they didn't need clipping so frequently I would be definitely paying somone else for the pleasure!

I love clipping! I hate the hair but wear a farmers over suit so I dont get hair stuck in all my clothes but it does get every where :| ... keep a towel for wiping face & clip indoors! Wash box or barn

Part of my job was to clip though
I now have my own clippers so will be charging next year so if anyone is north yorkshire give me a shout

I managed to appropriate a workman's overall from work when I left. It's fab . I do hate getting it in my eyes when doing under chin though.
