poor you. It was nearly a year ago since I was put in cast and crutches by my 3 year old, I'm only just building up the strength and courage to start working her again.

All the HHO posts, including yours, about babies have given me the encouragement to get on with it - now i'm not so sure!! No doubt you'll be back on board very soon, in the mean time get yourself on the drugs and pleanty of rest.

Top tip - get a old fashioned trolley on wheels so you can make a cuppa, and then get it back to the table/sofa to drink without loosing half of it on the floor! Oh and I found a good cry always makes things seam better afterwards!

I expect we'll see lots of 'bored Kerilli' posts in the next few weeks!

HHO healing vibes

Ouch! My one thought when reading your post was well I'm glad the nurse thinks that by wearing your hat you might have saved your legs some damage :P lol

HA! You obviously did not have my mum as an instructor I have had it drummed into me from word go that falling off is ALWAYS more painfull than staying on (or untill you really have no choice), even if it was just the promised belting for falling off =) None of this 'and I let go' nonsense!!! =)-

Apart from that poor you!
I hope you get into surgery pronto! Knees are evil!
My only words of wisdom are : if your friends offer to push you round the pub crawl/ Uni field trip/(insert expedition of choice) in a shopping trolley rember to pack a cushion or two, unless you like lattice like bruises.

No!

But...... at least you do have a reason to stay indoors in this filthy weather! Manneken dropped me last week and OH let me stay in the sofa with a blanky and a box of piroxicam for a whole day!!!!!

Ouch not good at all. I hope the hospital can sort out out nice an quickly.
If yuo're not up for the trolly on wheels those camping cups that keep your tea warm for a long while with a lid on are a boon when you're on crutches as well.
Of course we will require gory photo's please.
Upside, um at least you've done it out of the eventing season?
