OH rode my horse at weekend on the beach -what to do with man bits?

Poor OH finally had a trot and a wee canter on my horse on the beach at Dornoch (white sands miles and miles of it) last Sunday.
He wasn't that bad (well he stayed in the saddle albeit about 4 inches above it most of the time) and Jack didn't seem to notice him there , but OH certainly noticed Jack and the saddle beneath.

He has asked me to ask all you gentlemen riders way men don't in fact ride side saddle ( a safer option maybe?) and what is the undergarment kit favoured for sitting astride without damaging man bits!!

Just getting back in saddle after pelvic injury and have found comfort by wearing a pair of padded cycle shorts under jods.

Comfortable and enhancing !!!!!!!!!!

my husband events , he wears a good snug fitting pair of ordinary mens briefs , he says to tell your OH that he sympathises and when he learnt to ride he invested in a prolite seat saver , a comfy horse in trot and he quickly learnt how to sit deep without bouncing

My OH rides occasionally, and has found relief from a pair of padded cycle shorts and firm fitting pants under his jeans!
