My GSD releasing the most foul disgusting silent but deadly smells from her bum, she is racking the smell by letting loud farty ones and it bloody stinks.

I wouldn't mind but my sheltie x who is most offended and moves away from me if one happens to fall out of my bottom is happily snoozing by the GSD's bum

Oh I shouldn't really admit this but the other day I did do a little parp near the JRT puppy and she growled at my bum

She's so un-ladylike sometimes! But will look royally offended if "one happens to fall out my bottom"

(btw I am stealing that particular phrase and will be taking full credit for it, almost spat my coffee over the screen!

My Spaniel usually looks accusingly at me everytime he breaks wind

then he looks disgusted and stalks off with with his nose in the air

Sometimes he makes himself jump with the force they come out, then he stares at his own bottom in shock

Oh I love the shocked face - "where the hell did that come from?!"
Though most of the time she goes for the proud "Yes that WAS me"

I find it rather bizarre actually that both my dogs are fed the same feed, the same feed that they have been fed for years and yet Flyn often has a spurt of the most disgusting farts you have ever smelt - its horrific, you literally can't breath! So why? I would love to know what sets them off so I can avoid the instant room clearing smells in future

Ha ha - excellent. Great pic, looks like little dog has one ear on GSD's backside just waiting for it.

My staffie has the world's worst wind problem, I put a tablespoon of granulated charcoal on his dinner, sometimes it helps but I think it depends what they've eaten. My lot have lots of bones and that's when it's worst.

Well I am sorry but I think you have brought it upon yourself by expecting your dogs to live in such poor conditions

Mine want to come and live with you please. I am lucky because mine don't seem to suffer too much with wind problems, when they were fed tripe it wasn't farts it was the burps that could kill. Particularly as they would come and gaze lovingly into your face before letting rip.

On a serious note, charcoal biscuits are supposed to be good for digestive problesm, generally for dogs but if you fancy one yourself .....
