We had a major gas leak in the house next door but one to us coz some idiot drilled into an electric cable making it spark, which then burnt into the gas pipe and could have exploded at any point. So we and the neighbours had to evacuate the houses coz we were all joined by the main gas pipe, so if it exploded all of our row would have went. So we've spent the night at my OH mums and i,ve just been told we can't go back till tue. We need to have an internal wire check and it's not classed as an emergency even though i,ve got two kids and no power!!
I hope you are okay, *hugs*. Get whoever did it to pay for all the damage and do something to compensate. What an idiot! That is why metal detector things for builders etc were invented!
