29th August I am going on a rider confidence course at The horse combat centre in Hemel Hempstead, my confidence has got better but I think this is the push I now need to get me where I want to be, I am a bit nervous about it but also a bit excited because I really want it to help me so am looking forward to it, I don't think I will ever be like I was but I can't carry on as I am it's really getting to me, and I just want to enjoy my horses again without feeling like a complete failure.

Love the ' Horse Combat Center' name I can just see all the horses going round in their combat gear. I would love to have more confidence but struggle to understand how talking about it would help me. I know it works for some but I am more a practical minded person to think it would work for me. I know what to do in my mind but the body being able to do it is another thing. I will be interested to hear how you get on Pinkboots.

The lady who used my horses for her Masterson case studies went down to that.

She said it was really good. I think there are maybe supposed to be around 8 in a group but because of distancing there were only 4. She said that was much better but even still they were pushed for time and had to miss a section out. I think she was on a 1 day course but I could be remembering wrong ?

She had a fear of canter and a bit lacking in confidence when riding I think but she said the course definitely helped and I'm sure she has been riding a lot more since. I saw her the week after the course but not since however in fb there are more riding pictures so I'm assuming whatever they did has had long lasting effects ?

How you enjoy it and get what you need from it

That's good to hear I did buy the confidence book a few weeks back and found it useful, I have a bit of a mental block with canter especially in our arena as that's where I had my accident, and I just tend to over think and worry about things now, nothing ever worried me before so it's made me feel a bit useless, my horses are at home so I ride a lot on my own which I don't think helps.

Would love to know how you got on afterwards. Enrolling yourself is a big step already so well done for getting so far.
