So, he did it... he stayed on, he jumped over 30 fences (including hedges) and stayed out until about 2pm, plus a 40 minute hack back to the box... By that stage Ron was tired and OH was pretty sore. Just a few pics for you all!! and the video taken of the 4mile gallop from one of the riders that went round with him is still to be sorted out :)

we're at £1900 and some so far on the sponsorship, and there's still stuff to be counted! anyone who would still like to donate please go to www.justgiving.com/teams/withoutasaddle

Thank you!

Ron was an absolute LegEnd yesterday folks! Not that it was by any means easy - he pretty much ripped my arms out on the gallop and my forearms had locked up by the end, I could only just hold the reins. But I couldn't have asked for a better day really, and if it was easy it wouldn't have been worth doing as a challenge. There was considerable pain yesterday, more pain today, and the pain will be with me for at least a few days yet I'm sure.

Yes, I am JenHunt's OH, she is my amazing wife and without her and Ron I simply couldn't have done it.

Please keep spreading the word and make the pain etc really worthwhile; go to www.justgiving.com/teams/withoutasaddle, donate if you haven't already (PLEASE!! :) ), and encourage everyone else you know to do the same.

(and yes, I have been skulking around as a new member on the forums for the last week or two just to see what you've all been saying about the challenge!!)

Bloomin heck! You wouldn't catch me doing that in a month of Sundays! And without even a neckstrap - jeezo! I do envy your obviously balance and stickability on a horse! Well Done you!
