Send my heavyweight turnout rugs off to be washed last week. Knew I was tempting fate as it is now cold, wet and windy with sleet/snow due later this afternoon.

Horses out at night in light medium weight rugs and might have to double rug as it is due to drop to below freezing.

I'm back in my winter fleeces and very bored of this winter.

Lol. they always say never cast a clout til May is out. Think that must apply to rugs too now, it's damn chilly! Never mind, it'll help their summer coats come through quicker and I've only just bought a fly rug - what was I thinking of!
