Went for another run last night, I had not planned to run with Henry on the lead yet but we had to do the last bit on the road... so we did a bit of jogging on heel, then I got a bit light-headed, and told him to 'go go go' for the last minute or so - and WOW, even though he is little, we really did move some!:D

Sorry, pointless update, but I can't wait to get his harness on him and really start running with him properly! Last night he was in his double slip-lead, hence only running a very short distance, and I also didn't let him pull as hard as he wanted to / could have:o).

I can see this becoming quite addictive:D

I think I might ask for a proper harness for Christmas:D Trouble is, all the races are the wrong side of the country for me!

Also, harnessing Henry to me should prevent him from rolling in freshly muck-spread fields, as he did last night:mad::rolleyes:

All the husky sled racing type things are over by you though - house swap for the winter?! :D

Country Hounds is the cheapest place for harnesses, any of the ones on that page would be suitable, the Nordkyn one is the one I started out with. He will look very cute in a dinky version. :D Snowpaw store can order custom ones of the same if he needs a very dinky size.

Being in a harness never stopped Dax from rolling in muck but now there's two of them it's suddenly a competition and I can barely pause to breathe, never mind them stopping to do bad things.
