Oi, Shils, how is your poorly horse?

'Oi'? What sort of address is 'oi'? :D
I can't remember when I last updated you all...I collected her from the vet's a week last Sunday, and she's been on box rest since.
She's doing really well :D, has settled into the box rest routine quietly and cheerfully, walks out in hand sensibly, and has persuaded everyone at the yard to pay her inordinate amounts of attention for very little reason.
So she's doing very well. I, on the other hand, am exhausted at the twice daily mucking out, and starting to think I wouldn't mind being on box rest (with sedatives) myself!

Ah, that's good news :) Glad she is on the mend :) How long is the box rest for?

I know what you mean about being exhausted by it all. I just did two months with Be in 24/7 and it was far too much like hard work!

She's supposed to be box rested for 8 weeks in total, then a further 4 weeks paddock rest.
In reality, in another two or three weeks, I'll probably start putting her in a stable sized electric fenced paddock next to her mates for 10 mins a day, building time and space gradually until she's back out with them.
