Hehe didn't know if you'd see I'd posted. I'm still dying to go shopping, so will have to get lots of special shampoo and stuff!

4 out of my 5 are grey! They spend a lot of time green or brown

When competing they get a bath and look sparkly clean.

You get used to it

I have a grey and am a big fan of them. I dont worry about keeping him spotless, he likes rolling. Greys seem to like mud more than other horses.

Over winter, accept that he/she will be muddy, but they will be happy.

Greys are for people who like grooming if you want your grey to stay clean!

I bath my grey 2-3 times a year.

There is nothing so satisfying as spending time grooming a dirty grey, I feel I have achieved something when I have a white horse at the finish. A sparkling grey is something to behold.

Another vote for Dirty Beastie shampoo

We live with the beige/brown/ming most of the time and then he gets a quick go over with dirtie beastie before a party and he ends up half presentable at least.

Maybe I am the only one - but I have a grey and she stays remarkably clean all year round - a quick brush over and she is sparkling!.... (Ducks to avoid all the things being thrown!

Yay - mine too. Sadly she is gone now, but she was always really clean, summer and winter

Just get used to a dirty horse :P I HATE keeping horses clean probably because mine live out 24/7 and my competition horse is GREY (white grey) and Ive just taken on another horse to sell for a friend who is, you guess it GREY. AGH.
