I have a really nice dressage mare that i have put in foal but as a showjumper will be selling the foal next year at weaning!

The mare is pink papered Hanovarian, perfect confirmation and temperment with amazing paces
Her breeding is Rubenstein and Weltmeyer

I have put her to a young stallion called San Remo (Sandro Hit x Donnerhall)

who got amazing marks in his grading and is doing really well

Now not being a dressage person how much would this foal be worth ?? obviously i dont know whether it is a filly or a colt yet ??

anyone know roughly ?

Oh, don't tempt fate!
Wish for a happy and healthy foal and worry about its value later.

oh dont say that i didnt think about it - im just wondering what these types of foals go for ??? so not mine lets say

It's kind of impossible to put a price on something like that...it depends on so many factors...its gender, its colour, its conformation, who happens to be looking to buy, etc
Your best bet is to look at the youngstock bit in the HH classifieds or on stud websites for similar youngstock to the one you hope to breed.
Fate - she wasn't talking about her foal, ok?

She has had a bone move in her poll meaning she cant take the pressure of going on the bit - nothing hireditory at all and have report from Newmarket !!

Oh bless her!! I'm sure she'll enjoy her new career as a mummy though!

I would consider top-end to be 5-8K, once broken but not competing you could then look at 8-15K and if you wanted to bring on and start competing (young horse classes etc) you could probably fetch 15K+

I am certainly no expert though - just going on the guidelines my friend uses to price her youngsters - she imports and breeds Danish WB dressage horses.... the one's with top stallions as their sire's go for the top ends of these brackets
