Ok bit early but anyone going to .......BADMINTON this year!?

My OH works on the Mitsubishi stand and i get VIP tickets every year and am soooo excited already!! had a fab time last year and saw lots of famous riders up close in the VIP area,did lots of shopping and was generally in my element,anyone else looking forward to it????
 
i'm not sure, i'd love to go but it's a long trek from here, and i'd have to get someone to do my lot. depends whether i'm competing that weekend too. i'd love to go and walk the course, haven't been for a few years. and the shopping! oh yes, fancying that a lot... also depends whether a friend of mine gets in off the Wait List, if she does i'll make a special effort to go.
 
I am going on a xc day - my first time at Badminton and am very much looking forward to it

*jumps up and down* Im going from Thur to Sunday too. I think those camping should put their HHO names on their windows so we can all say Hi to each other!

normally go & do shopping on thurs or fri afternoon to do shopping then walk the course on saturday cant wait + plus as i work in badminton we have to shut whilst the trials are on so will prob go up 2 full days
 
Go every year get there fri but got to come back on sat as daughter in PC ODE on the Sunday so a very tiring weekend i think!

I love the XC and shopping
 
Just look for the pikey-looking L200. I'll have a horse-shoe stuck to the grill 'speshally! Oh and the garfield on the mirror and the rat on the dash!
 
yes i am going thursday to sunday and going up wednesday eve to watch the vetting and walk the XC course in peace! I only live 20 mins away. going to box frankie up their on sat for a ride around and a sneak preview!
 
Was thinking about this this morning. Will probably go either Thursday or Friday to watch some stressage and do a load of shopping.

And watch the rest on the telly.
 
I have literally just ordered my tickets. I had to get my mum's for Mothers' Day (yes I know it was ages ago!)
So I'm definately going on XC day, and depending on the weather/ my money situation/ if I can find someone to go with, I *might* go on the Thursday as well.

If I just go for the day, I shall wear a baseball cap with my HHO user name on so peeps can say hello!

if you look on the Badders website, it has details under Visitor Information, then Camping I think.....

Not sure if you can buy a one night pass though, think you have to pay for all four

Def NOT too early - ordered my tickets as soon as the box office opened, I treat it as an annual holiday as it's the only time I get to go away for longer than a weekend!!!
