What would you buy / do?? (ok so this isn't strictly competiton riders but I post on here the most and know more of you lovely people from on here following my last few posts
smile.gif
)

Top of my list before anything else: I would take my lovely, well deserving mum on a nice long holiday and buy her a lovely house and car and make sure that she was comfortable financially
laugh.gif
(Ok I'm a mummy's girl! But in all seriousness I realise how much she sacrifices to keep my horse and help me out with what me, and my brother, want to do, on top of everything else
frown.gif
)

2) I would put some money aside to spend on a nice first car
smile.gif

3) I would buy a nice little 3.5tonne horsebox to go to some shows
smile.gif

4) I would save a lot of money for the future (first house, uni fees etc)

5) I would affiliate BS, BE and BD and compete a lot more and perhaps further away at different venues
smile.gif

And lastly: I would pay someone to turn my horse out and feed him every morning but I would stay primarily DIY as i like to do him myself
smile.gif

What would everyone else do?? Horsey on non-horsey
smile.gif

i will sound very greedy, but i will be honest

MMM what to do 1st?
1.Probably sort my mum out too she has just been diagnosed with empysema(sp?)
frown.gif
and could do with living by the seaside with some fresh air so that would be job number 1.
2. Buy a house that had stables at home with tonnes of grazing for my neds.
3. Give up work so i had time to do all the things i enjoy.
4. Buy a nice big horse box and hire a driver so i didnt have to stress about driving horses long distances to shows.
5. Hire Carl Hester to come and train me!
6. Buy a girlfriend chihuahua for my boy so he had a little mate to play with.

this is a growing trend but anyway...
1. give my mum, dad and brother and close friends the money they need to do whatever they need/ want
2. buy my own small house and yard and lorry with one experianced event horse/ school master and a youngster to bring on.
3. compete alot and get regular lessons from top trainers
4. i would get bored not working so i would set up my own event venue ( but pay people to do the boring bits obviousy!!)
5. buy property abroad for when it snows in britain

p.s most of this i actully plan to do in my life ( with some slight vairations tho)

first: a month in the Maldives!
then: buy a big perfect yard with a few houses around it, install my trainer over here (kidnap him and his family and horses if necessary, basically), buy a 5-horse Ketterer, employ 3 of my friends as grooms on excellent wages, buy 5 lovely young event horses from Vere Phillips, and have an absolute ball trying to get them to the top...!
oh, and employ a very kind cowboy to ride my 4yr olds until they're safe for me!
wink.gif
wink.gif

i've got it all spent in my mind already!

A month somewhere hot for me too. Somewhere hot, beautiful, with a blue sea and a blue sky and white sand. Take my good friend with me, to say thanks for helping me out over the years.

Then, a nice house, pleasant yard, with a full sized school with mirrors and a good surface.

Ketterer lorry.

Trip to Germany, purchase a GP horse and a few classy youngsters with good bloodlines, and a proven broodmare. Spend some time with Monica Theodorescu or Klaus Blakenhol learning to ride said horses.

Hire a decent bereiter to help me at home, and start training with Kyra K and Richard White.

hire a very good groom.

start enjoying life!

Haven't posted for a while, but was talking to mum about what we would do if we won the lottery, so this is ideal
wink.gif

1 - Sort out all my immediate familes debt
2 - Learn to drive and buy myself a defender!
3 - Buy a massive yard with a couple of houses on it so my grandparents can live with us, on site XC course
wink.gif

4 - Buy my sister and I a schoolmaster each that we can event upto whatever level we can get (always been a dream but my old man wouldnt of coped round anything bigger than Pre-Nov!)
5 - See if there is some sort of majorly expensive treatment so i can sort out Ewan so he definitely never suffer again
6 - Try and take Ewan to Africa ( he loves it! )
7 - Fill my wardrobe with loverrrrrrrly clothes and shoes!
Quite a list there, which i know will never happen, but a girl can dream hey!

Oh goodness. I'd give more to charity, buy a house with enough land to give my friends free livery and make sure my family were all set straight and just relax...bliss.

1) give money to my mum so she can buy us a big house with land, posh stables, indoor and outdoor menages, jumping paddock, horse walker etc.
2) buy a REALLY posh showjumper, but more of a schoolmaster type, that will take me to doing Foxhunters and beyond
grin.gif
as tbh now, i simply dont have the funds to get a horse that can jump that big courses, so iv only reached newc.
3) maybe get a groom
smirk.gif

4) get a posh lorry with living etc etc etc
5) buy really good tack and accessories for all the horses, (the new sj-er i plan to get with my millions, and my current 3 lol)
6) give a lot of money to some charities
7) use loads of money to compete more regularly, and travel over a wider area to compete
smile.gif

8) SHOPPING SPREE ON CLOTHES!!

9) pay for uni fees... as they are expensive!!!!

A nice 2/3 box with living so i can do over night shows in luxury.

Maybe set up my nice own yard with fab turnout, big boxes, outdoor and indoor school, loads of posh showjumps and a xc course, might run shows but only because i will get someone in to run it. And pick my liveries carefully.

Take myself off on some nice holidays every now and again.

Strip and rebuild my car and buy my OH the cars he wants and a place to build them.

My OH wants a shire to either show or just to drive. If not he would just be an owner for someone.
Not much then really.
grin.gif

I would build a menage!!! Get a nice set of Jump For Joy sj's!!!

I would put in a horse walker, and lunging pen!!!

I would buy some more tack ha ha like proper nice saddle jumping and dressage... my showing one is lovely any way so wouldn't change that!!!

I would by a little 4x4 as my first car and keep our trailer for like local shows!!! I would also by a 2/3 horse lorry with living for over night shows

I would have LOADS Of proper lessons with a very experienced rider/trainer!!!

join BE and BD go to LOADS of shows!!!

Buy a nice youngester coloured part bred arab that I could show and bring on to event!!!

I would buy a SOLARIUM!!!! I would love one of them and fit hot water to my stables!!! I would turn our huge garage into indoor stables fitted with lighting hot water heating ect!!!! completely rubber matting it out!!! ha ha

I would also make sure my horse has a nice massage every so often to relax him proper pamper him!!!

I would also like some nice show gear for myself!!! and a whole new set of rugs for Tiger!!!

Oh I can dream ha ha!!!

xx

I'd buy a refubished period property and also a yard, ideally 25 boxes, all weather outdoor school, indoor school, 30 acres of well fenced, well drained pasture with direct access to a bridleway.

I'd buy myself a schoolmaster, have loads more lessons and also some transport so I could compete as often as I wanted.

It let a couple of friends move with me as long as they helped with chores.

I'd give up work and start a small rescue centre or retirement livery.

I'd also have a cleaner
laugh.gif

Oh Blimey !!

definately my own place with 4 or 5 bedrooms with stabling for 6 or 7 horses an indoor thats 60 x 40 some barns for my OH to mess around with sheep at least 1000 acres of good grass with Cotswold stone walls and an all levels xc course and a decent lorry .
resident trainer / rider to help me along and a lot of luck !!
Frivolously a small pack of hounds and a huntsman !!
