As above?
I am boxing over to a friends for a hack, as my youngster is being a monkey on his own at the moment! He is really trying it on, napping, spinning etc!:(
So hopefully he will behave himself with the others, so i can enjo my ride for a change.:)
What about you guys?
Any shows etc today?:p
Kate x

Lying in bed on a very hot hot water bottle. Bliss :D

I should be out with Friend on her first hack on New Lad. It's only round the block, but it's the first one and I'm missing it :(. If back can cope with sitting in the car (yipee for heated seats! :D), then I'll follow :D

Other than that, bribing D1 to muck out Dizz's very disgusting stable; she really is a dirty mare (hoss, not D1 lol). And, writing some strategies. Oh what an exciting day lol.

TG - hope your back is feeling better soon hun. Have a large hot choccy, see if that helps :)

KK - hope the monkey behaves! You can have a hot choccy too :D

B - you'll definately need a flask of hot choccy :D. I like fence judging, though not done it for years. Where are you at today?

Work...got a regular client and her daughter at ten.....and a new man joining us for the first time, he is french so fingers crossed he is a hot french sexy type!
Few horses to work....and then home for two days off...loads to do, only four sleeps till my new horse gets here, yay x

Non horsey day for me - I'm off to be rolled down a hill in a giant ball, apparently it's called zorbing...! Then will prob pop up and see the new boys and do the yards for owner, who will be out riding I expect. I really am the optimum sharer, even if I do say so myself!

Mrs M - wishing you a speedy recovery and if its any condolence I loved the fact that you made a speedy dismount with a smile on your face and steeds huge look of concern that she'd failed to catch her rider upon landing!:)

O - fingers crossed that he is of the dishy French variety :D. Details please! With pictures if possible :D :D

DCT - yup, a hack hun lol

AB - rofl - it was a painted grin (due to so many cameras on us) and Dizz is easily confused at the best of times :D :D :D. Have a large hot choccy for being such a grand sharer :D :D

Well I moved my two to a new yard yesterday, so I am going to find out whether they still have all four legs. They seemed to settle in well - mare couldn't care less, she just wanted a field of grass, and gelding went into his field, did a lot of roaring and elephant impressions, showed off his trot (why does he never trot like that when I am riding him?) and started eating, so I suspect all will be well.

Hope you're feeling better Mrs M after your circus antics yesterday!

Non Horsey Day Today - working at the pub!! :/ Oh the joys!!
have fun days everyone coz i definitely will,, Week Off as from 4.30pm TODAY!!!! :D :D

Went out for a nice hack this morning, now having a bit of brekkie, then taking my dog up to the local equestrian centre to watch a bit a BS. Thats about it really, all housework etc done yesterday!!

Yesterday I was BSJA'ing, was 3rd in 1.05m speed class and won the 1.10m class so that's me happy for the weekend! Today I'm being totally non-horsey and going sailing... in the pissing rain...

well Ted is on boxrest so have been to 'do' him and now just going to chill out and maybe do some tidying around the house, take dog out and then back up yard to do ted and take him for a walk, then having a takeaway chinese tonight!! thats my day!! x

I wish I knew how to do smilies, I would do a line of sad ones.

I've put my mare out on loan, so I'm having a non horsey day. Going to spend it on HHO and might make some chocolate brownies or something to cheer me up. I miss her like crazy.

Good luck, Booboos. I hate late times too. When Cat was alive, we BS'd to 1 m 15, which involved a *lot* of hanging about as it gets harder to predict class start times later in the day. The later the class is, the less I feel like doing it! Now I'm starting from the bottom with my racer, at least we can turn up at 9 for the BN & be on our way home at 9.05 to enjoy the rest of the day.

O/h is awol today, so I ought to be going to ASDA & horse food shop (2nd is more expensive than the first sometimes with 3 hungry horses, 3 cats, 3 cockatiels & a Rottie) & picking up some hay. Hay place is 1/2 mile down the road but we've got a 7.5 ton lorry & I'm a bit scared of driving it.

Then at some stage riding Trev & Adrian, & going swimming with my sj trainer. And the house looks like a bomb's hit it, so ought to Do Something about that too, I s'pose.

CBA with any of the above tbh.

Oh & Mrs M...arnica cream & tablets for bruising! I was knocked right off my feet by the rottie the other day & landed v hard on the kitchen floor, & I was a lot more mobile after a day or two thanks to arnica.

Just back from walking the dog and seeing the boys, alittle teary because of knowing my my old man hasn't got much longer left :(

Still im going to watch some Hicksted on the telly this avo then go back up to the yard and spend more time with my boys, I love summer evenings.

O also feeling a bit weird as I went to see another foal yesterday and subject to a vet check will have another youngster coming to me in September. Yikes!

Rode this morning - supposed to be flatwork but ended up jumping, in my dressage tack, including saddle, without putting my stirrups up! :p Crazy xD

just had lunch, get to sit around for a bit, then off to bring the ponehs in & to somerford to watch the dressage and hopefully get some photos of some HHO members who will be riding :D

I just got back from a really nice long hack in the wiltshire countryside! it was lovely!

although I did get a fly in my eye. It was stuck in my lower eyelid for about 45 minutes and I only just managed to get it out, now that I'm home. It just appeared out of the corner of my eye. Quite disgusting really.

Sorry to hear you are sad about your horse going on loan Ziggy :( - to do a sad smilie you just type in a colon and then an open bracket and the forum will do it for you. Cheer up :)

go get her back then, why have you loaned her out if you didnt want to? x

Thanks catembi - I've spent the day like a zombie but we are off now so what will be will be!

Good luck to anyone who is competing, good fun to anyone who is riding and hope you are back in the saddle soon to anyone who is resting!

I had a lovely schooling session on my boy. :)

I'm away on holiday to a music festival in Germany tomorrow so I then bored all the other girls on the yard by wittering on about keeping an eye on him for me. They all know exactly what they're doing so they just smiled patiently and agreed with me and didn't complain about me being paranoid because it's the first time I've gone away since I bought him. :o
