OK, I have taken the plunge....

and bought a Pessos type thingy. Here is a photo of him lunging at the moment (sorry it's so dark) I will post again in a few weeks and see if there is any improvement.

what are you using? It doesn't look like a normal pessoa but then maybe I'm just blind

No, it's just a normal lunge line, we don't have the pessoa thing yet. Should arrive tomorrow (fingers crossed) I bought an "eqi-trainer" I think it was called.

I'll keep you posted. I am not convinced that they make any difference, I have seen pics of horses before and then during but none with the horse holding this position without the gadget. We'll see though
