Ok so I’m bored, weather’s rubbish and OH’s taken up studying Math’s again

Here’s the challenge, you have between £2000 and £5000 to spend, looking only at the H&H website pick a horse that you would go out and buy today. It must suit you and your ability, height, sex etc. (Don’t worry about the distance you will have to travel, like the money it will come from nowhere

)

Here’s my choice

Blimey, when i look there isn’t that much to choose from but he’ll have to do, wouldn’t have another grey either (says quickly “although I love mine dearly and wouldn’t swap him for the world”)

I like your choice, can we share? Only because there's no chestnut arabs around the age i would want on there at the moment though

I won't bother even looking then!!

Just remember this is a one off special offer folks, you must buy today, if someone else has chosen the one you want you'll have to choose another and NO YOU CAN'T SHARE!!!!
Blimey some people just look a gift horse straight in the mouth

STO can i ask what it is about 'if it's already been chosen choose another' that you don't understand?

If i was to let you have mine it would set a precedent to everyone else and i'm NOT GOING TO ALLOW IT.

Simples

I like the sound of this one, Sec D x Friesian, 2yo to make 15.2hh. I want a youngster who I can bring on myself, and want pony charachteristics (namely temperament) whilst needing it to be at least 15.2 and weight carrying enough for me.

Only thing is this guy seems too cheap, and the picture is too rubbish to work out anything on confo, so I would go out and LOOK AT him today. Not promising to buy.

Am shocked at how easily I found one that matched my criteria... is it fate? Should I get him?

Skippydo, I may have to blame you if I do

... and with my change from my £1800 bargain I'd buy this mare:

... ok I'd have to beat them down £200 on price (thus making 2 horses at £5k!

) but she sounds a nice safe weight carrier.

I can ride her until the 2yo is old enough, and she can be a happy hack for my mum and any guests. She will also live with my at my idyllic famhouse (plenty of good quality fields, a couple of stables and an aga) and keep the 2yo company.

Happy days

I just can't find any mares of the right age and type, that I like, in that price bracket, in the H&H ads

He is nice! Offer your original one £4500 and offer him £500. Simples!

Although he doesn't fit your original rules of between 2 and 5k! Tsk tsk tsk!
