So we always have "how much" posts. so how much would you expect of a horse to pay say £10,000.

You have £10,000 to spend, and as its a buyers market you can have what you want basically!

so what would you want in a horse for it to be worth £10k to you?

One that mucks out it own stable....

FUNFUN!!!

Well. It would be grey, but that gorgeous silver colour that Tersks are supposed to be, and roughly 16hh. Gelding or mare. It would have stunning conformation, and be of light to medium build. The mane and tail would be long and flowing and never have been pulled...(I DON'T have to be sensible in this thread, right??

)...it would be quite young, say about 5, with basic schooling in place, but I could be proud of teaching it things (this is presupposing I were actually qualified to do so)...it would be very sweet and affectionate to handle on the ground, and bold and forward-going when mounted---yet with brakes. It would be intelligent, and happy to try anything, oh, and it would have stunning paces, of course...and it would be utterly sound...I'm not asking for the moon, am I?

I'm with SU - one that mucks out its own stable, and cleans its own tack, um, and can give me a massage as and when requested as opposed to the ones where you get massaged into the stable wall as and when ned decides she has an itch

I wouldn't ever buy a horse for £10000, well, Maybe if I won the lotto! All I would want (for about £6000ish I would hope) is a

17hh, 4 years old, WB or WBX
Any Colour, with a sane head on its shoulders. Used to going out and about so wouldn't get to lit up as we did more.
Would eventually jump anything and hunt sensibly all day.
Ideally something that would live on fresh air so I would have a low feed bill!

I don't want much really!
