hi guys

get ready for a long post !!!
ok as some of you must know by now i took on a huge project, i spent 7 months and a hell of alot of money 25k doing up a farm into 9 loddon boxes, 40x20 floodlite school new roofs ect clearing out Barnes for hay ect ect you name it i done it , well the plan was to open yard as a livery ,and i t was slow to start but as soon as i started taking bookings ... found out im pregnant , yep i know its not a illness but when i get pregnant its not straight forward , my white blood cells basically attack fetus thinking its a foreign object and try there best to kill it off .. ive got one daughter and had a very bad run of miscarriage's , so now i have to have my partners blood injected in to help fight my own body of my baby ... its horrible and im getting very stressed about whole thing ....

so after alot of tears tantrums and talking it through we have decided to move back to gran canary where we lived for a few yrs , so in a few months when i get all clear with bubba
il be off , so i want to rent out my yard i sublet it from the farmer so he will be there to help with fencing, maintenance , clearing muck heap away ect but i wont
so there will be someone on site lives there to help ,we are based in aldeby suffolk/norfolk border
where can i advertise this yard and how much do u think i can get a month
we have 160 acers of road hacking beautiful settings

any help would be great in a dilemma to be honest

Bless you hope all goes well with the baby, I'm afraid I can't offer any advice on the yard but hugs x

Really worried that you spent £25000 on something you were renting.I think.
I think 9 boxes would get about £150 a week but may be miles off.
I do wish you all the happiness in the world

Ooh blimey, poor you

You have had a rough time of it. My fingers are crossed that your baby manages to hang in there. How come you want to go back to Gran Canaria? Is it less stressful there?
I wouldn't have a clue about how much rent though, you need to speak to an estate agent, maybe get them to sort it all out for you and use an agent to deal with the renting side, so you won't need to worry about any of it.

Good Luck, I hope it all works out for you. Fingers x'd and healthy happy vibes to you.

Hi,
wish you loads of luck with the baby - my sister in law had 5 miscarriages, but now has healthy twins (a boy and a girl) so it can be done!
Do you have anyone locally you can trust with your yard? Sounds like you have put loads of work into it and know what you're doing - or how about advertising for someone experienced to run it for you, so you pay their salary and still take a cut of the profits. You could go to one of the professional recruitment agencies advertised in horse and hound that specialise in finding the right person for horsey jobs.
If you just want a clean break I would try advertising locally and in horse and hound.
Most importantly LOOK AFTER YOURSELF & try no to worry - things have a habit of working out in the end, even if its not how you expected.

Oh how worrying for you. Huge hugs and wish you all the best with your little brood

I'm not really sure about the yard but it sounds lovely and for 9 boxes, I'm sure you'd get a decent amount for that.

Good luck with baby and move...sorry such a supposed happy time is a difficult one instead for you.
I dont have any advice really just wanted to say all the best - I understand a bit about your trouble

I think your best bet would be to involve a land agent...it will take the pressure off you doing it all on your own.
Wishing you happy times ahead...

yep i know but i got a lease hold for 20 yrs so i was covered if things went belly up
people pay around 500 to 750 a month round here so fingers x

best of luck with it, got to be worth putting an ad in the property section of H&H, maybe an event rider or similar would want it, would be less hassle than liveries, just one person paying the bills.
echo the advice to use an agent perhaps.
very very best of luck to you and the baby. *gentle hugs*

Oh dear

I hope all goes well with the baby and the yard. I cannot help but thought I would say that if you were closer to me I would be interested (so hopefully you will find someone nearby who looks for a yard just like yours).
I think a good, quality advert in H&H is a way to start - you invested so much into this place that it is worth to keep up and try for the best tenant possible.
All the best!

Hi Hipp, so sorry to hear about your trials and tributations, hold onto that baby!

Cant offer any help with the yard problems, but happy to listen to your rants. God, life does throw them at you sometimes doesn't it? (It's meant to be character forming.) It must be very stressful for you and that is not good news for your baby situation. You must make yourself take some time out and relax, rest, have a massage, anything to make you stay still for a couple of hours and let your mind wander onto something other than yard, horses, etc etc.

Hugs and soothing vibes.

Huge hugs to you! Most important thing...look after yourself. Second, I agree with those who say a good quality ad in H&H would be the best way to go.

Good luck with everything xx
