Seriously try to stop panicking as Monty will pick that up from you. Only do a couple of schooling sessions this week as you don't want to overdrill him. Just pick something you want to work on in each session and try to picture your instructor is on the floor yelling at you when you are riding. IF you get stressed, stop, take a deep breath and start again.

Good luck!

Try not to be too nervous, it is *only* a dressage test after all.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself as Monty will pick up on the tension.

Fingers crossed for you though & good luck again

ok, I'll buy you a hamster, I'll have the big cream one.

It's the deal of a centuary and after a bottle of wine I'm thinking it's a great idea!

Don't know what level you're doing, but for Prelim my instructor say so long as you are going forward well and ride accurate movements you can get 6s. His other tip is if you are straight in the halt you only have to worry about the front legs being square because the judge can't actually see the back legs.

good luck, I was soooo nervous when we did our first one, George doesn't really do 'going in an outline' so I concentrated on riding the test really accurately and it worked!
