OK really dumb question alert

Have the saddler coming tomorrow. She has already asked about Mighty (her shape, height etc). Now for the dumb bits

, have been riding for nearly 19 years but never having had my own nag before have never actually been present for a saddler visit

.

So any advice on what to expect please, any atall?. Mights obviously going to be caught and clean in good time with bridle and current (not very happy with saddle) present. This is all am prepared for.

Also wondering how long people on here have waited from saddler visit to having the saddle (ponio a bit ok a lot of a cowbag to start riding again after a break of more than a few days).

They might be able to make yours fit by restuffing there and then, or have something in the van that fits - so you could have something sooner than you think

Be ready to ride too- most saddle fitters will want to see you riding in the saddle to see how it fits. Have a thin saddle pad to put on in case they want one.

The really odd thing is I can't ride her bareback, she just freaks and am not sure why. She does the same with the other people that have tried. I have managed to do so but she is constantly twisting and staring at me and genuinely looks terrified. Wierd. Her back has been checked as we had the dude come out to King and he also looked at her. She's not atall cold backed or sensitive in any other situation. Odd very odd.
