Well De Sote Deern has just arrived with Eric Gillies and could not be happier with her...............the picture above does not do her any justice!!

She is gorgeous and just wanted to eat haylege! She is looking very well considering she has been travelling since Saturday!!

Saturday collected in Germany and taken to Netherlands
Monday collected from Netherlands and taken into Kent
Tuesday from Kent to Newmarket
Wednesday from Newmarket to Kelso
Thursday from Kelso to us in little ole Aberdeenshire!

Cannot fault the transporters at all. Used ETA (formerly Chaigley), this was after been severely let down by JP. Have to say they gave us an excellent service and especially at the last minute on Friday of last week

Springfallstud, thanks for your comments. I was going to leave De Sote Deern in Germany to do her performance test but Daniela from the stud was a little wary after being scanned in foal to Fidertanz........so we decided not to do it. If she had been covered earlier on in the season then we would have done the MPT, but it was a last minute decision by ourselves to have her inseminated.

I have thought of ET for some of the mares but for one I could not afford to pay to have several under saddle and secondly is the price of ET............although a kind gentleman did offer us some discount on that front if we should ever decide to go down that road......
