Quite. Cleverly, there's no date on that quote that I posted above... so even if you ask them about it, I bet they'll say "Oh! That was last year. We haven't updated that page, we've been too busy..." or something like that. It's false advertising, and OFT would have a field day with this stud and its website.

Having said in another thread that I thought the BQM was a reasonable system, I now take it back. If studs like this are getting a BQM, then the award itself is meaningless.

Hi AP that was from last year! and it was my friend mare that didnt take! that was to Top Gun shes taken this year shes just had an interim 27 day scan as they had probs last year and she still pregnant!!

Hi NG its a good job i'm patient!!! anyways i'm deffo gonna ask loads of questions on sunday see if being face to face is easier to understand!!!

i never spend too long on the phone as the scan dates have all been when i've been in work and they dont like us being on the phone to long!! civil service for you!!!

after the first scan they said there was no reason for her not to be pregnant no fluid etc so dont know what they do to check as i havent seen the vet himself!it is a cheap package but i think most people would sign up for it so they will get a lot of custom! i paid £200 with the VAT but you do have the option of paying for everything seperatly so glad i never took that route!!!

Sorry, I think I must be being a bit dim here. Why on earth wait until Sunday? Karen's place is a BQM stud so she should have full records, up dates and reasons to hand as to why, where and when everything is happening as BQM studs have to prove that they can supply this type of info instantly as part of the approval system. You are the customer, its your mare you are paying for and you have an absolute right to know exactly what has/is happening whilst she is there.

So go to it!

yes i know but will be easier to hear her face to face!!! she has a cordless phone and i find even with the phone on loud i cant hear her properly!i also seem to pick the times that are not the best!! time before last she was about to inseminate a mare!!! i'm due a bill any day (they come out automatic!) which lists all the dates she was covered etc so will have that to hand before if not she will go over everything on sun!!

thank you! my friend at the yard who has one to lone ranger had trouble year before last and was about to give up for the year got a call the morning she was gonna pick her up to say dont bother shes pregnant! that mare had been there early in the season and had been AI'd every time but still took a long time to take! she has a lovely filly now! so just gonna see how this pans out! if all else fails she will go to stud next year early!!

well shes due her scan on the 20th!

she was scanned on monday and covered scanned again on wednesday and friday! so her 17 day scan 20th!!

head girl said something about it being perfect size and ready and conception?(might have misheard her on that bit as wouldnt think you would see anything at this stage?if i'm wrong let me know!!

) on the friday scan but unsure if she had been covered again between monday and friday as forgot to ask!

as for dollar well usually hes a wham bam thank you ma'am!!

unfortunatley my tarty mare is the 1% that needs more goes!!

she was in natural season so am hoping that because she has been jabbed all other times and not been pregnant that having a natural season will mean she takes!

one can only hope!! although my grumpy cowbag of a mare did come running to the gate as soon as she heard me shouting her and would not leave me alone so maybe the change in attitude is hormonal!!!

will update when i know some more!!
