Ok, so I've been putting off asking this, but....

She did get a zap the other day actually, a real goodun! But she's been quiet for about 3 weeks before that.

Although that may of course be the reason she's not happy at the field at the moment. So many things going on I'm not sure whats behavioural, whats pain, whats normal, whats not.....!
 
Well try narrowing it down a bit, take her somewhere else and see what behaviours are the same and what seems to be confined to being up the yard...she may be throwing you a red herring with the not wanting to run around up there thing!
 
She is definitely quieter and less willing to run wherever we take her. The yard thing is just odd because she is a pain to get in the gate and wants to keep going back to the car! But the lethargy is most definitely everywhere.
