You are sure he is 6 because he just looks more juvenile than that ??

Gorgeous tho definitly talk to NAF about helping him settle.
I rang them up about my boy and she rang me back and spent 45 minutes discussing him.

Change of location and owner can unsettle the gut so they get quite anxious.

Apprently hes 6

Dentist is out this week to confirm though...

Hes got pooh stuck under his foot and it looks rather odd i agree, but in the last photo you can see his leg/foot is normal!

He looks more like a 4 year old, and his feet definatly need to see a farrier!

But he looks nice, love his colour!

Given his background (as mentioned in the heart/head post) I'm not suprised he's unsettled. He definitely needs some tme to settle in and chill.

he looks lovely, a real sweetie. love his markings.
sometimes you have to go by your heart!!
i did with my mare, and whilst we have had our ups and downs....i don't regret any of it!
good luck with settling in.

What a sweet boy he looks! He does look quite scared in the pics. he needs time to get used to the big change he is having ATM and agree with previous comment he does look young! Bless him! Hope it all works out for you.

He is lovely! What a kind, handsome face he's got.

I agree with the others though, he looks younger than 6. He's a touch bum high, not much though but I would put him at 4/5.

He's very wea and lacks depth so you wouldnt want to ask him to carry weight, his back is not strong enough.

He has a sweet face and, if his temperament suits you then I'm sure he'll come good

Whats his backgound?

Basically he was abused as a youngster, bought by people who know nothing about horses and left in a field- brought out, backed, schooled then put back in a field for another year untouched- brought out again reschooled and ridden for 6 months then has come to me to see how we get on...

Beautiful, although agree with the others that he does look a little young for his age. Im imagining him with some decent feed, topline and a pulled mane. I think he will be a very smart little horse indeed and if I was you I would be very proud:)

I cant wait to see what the Dentist says if you hadnt said 6 I would have said 3and a half.

I bloody well hope not!!
They've had him 5 years (again, apparently)
Although, they are happy with me loaning him for 2 months before i make a decision so must have nothing to hide!

I agree with this. You wouldn't want anything but a very petite adult or a child riding.

ooo, he's cute looking!

Not a cob thought! In fact, if you take those tuffy bits off his fetlocks he'll be a lovely Riding Pony - he's very fine and dainty!

I don't think he really looks like a baby thought. his chest may widen a bit but otherwise he's a nice weight and looks to be as heavy as he's going to get - he has very little bone.

I was just looking up teeth and it says canine teeth are apparent bewteen the ages of 4-5.. he def has promenant canine teeth as i was checking how sharp his teeth were today.

Judging by the defination of his wither he could easily be 6, but he hardly looks cob like to me, more small ridig horse.

Hope you have lots of fun with him.
