This might be better in the Hunting Forum?! But what I did was googled my local hunt and e-mailed the Hunt secretary, she came back to me almost instantly (and was really lovely and supportive), and now I’m booked in to go on the Taster with Hounds day at the end of August.

You might want to take a look in the hunting forums further down the main page, there are loads of info for newbies on there.
I would just find you hunt sec of your local hunt on http://www.mfha.org.uk/ phone up, tell them you are new to it and they will suggest a meet that is suitable for you. It would be nice for you to get into cubbing first- they are good to get horses good for open season and a great way to meet the regulars before all the other decend on open season. Have fun

I just emailed my local hunt for dates- they often want a few details to check you arent a sab- then you turn up, pay, go and make friends! simpler than it seems

a lot of hunts let you go a few times a season without being a member, and just paying cap fee.
