from the video below do you think he looks lame and if so where do you think it is coming from. I absolutely love this feller and will give more info once i've had a few replies. I know we all love this kind of challenge on here.

I couldn't see clearly as the video didn't run smoothly - every so often I thought I saw a bad step - or was it the video?? Even watched it twice, but no improvement I'm afraid.

So sorry, I love a good challenge!

Good luck - he's certainly a different horse than when you first got him eh? :)

OK, anyway my boy has a spavin coming. I bought him last year knowing he was just backed but with a large boney lump on his hock and expecting it to become a spavin, he has been sound for a year which has given me time to establish him and do abit of everything, he has now just begun to look unlevel behind irregularly. I am having the hock medicated on Friday. The vet has told me to carry on work but only on a surface. I am not worried as he is only just five so we have alot of years ahead of us, I have had exrays a year ago then last month and regularly have the physio to check for any compensating, he has had tildren but i can't say whether his soundness for a year was down to this or just luck. I just thought i'd share as i love this little man to bits.

Here is the photo of the lump on his hock,,,massive eh, luckily only the very top encroaches on the bottom hock joint. wish us good luck for the future as we have the time there is no rush.
