Again a saddle. My sister had a close contact pasoa saddle. Her good mare wouldn't even go over the first fence, she never stops. Changed her saddle back to the fieldhouse and hey back to jumping clear.

Can I just choose two brands...? Shires and Masta rugs. Both awfully designed. I'll stick with Fal and Horseware thanks!
I also have a list of things I have never and will never buy (unless they come up with some better reasons for me to give them my money) - things like that Oxyshot stuff and the most hilarious "equine performance patches"

Couldn't agree more, only now buy Horseware and Fal, they last and they are well designed. I was so p***** off with trying to buy a new middle weight turn out last winter and tried ones with liners and so on, ended up just buying a Rhino original with detachable neck for half the price. It is fab!!!

My masta rugs fitted my tb's perfectly, and they're a pretty good price.
Id never buy a coloured horse again, too tricky to keep clean :P

Would'nt ever buy another Rambo rug - rub my lad to bits (although the Amigo doesn't???)

Polypads - always slip down onto withers no matter how high up I pull them

Masta's fit my hanovarioan x TB fine, had about 3 or 4 turnouts now and they last OK (esp as he's a thug!), a couple of winters usually.
Would never buy one of those prolite numnahs with built in gel 'panels' again, rubbish thing kept slipping.

would never buy a full size breastplate again, no blumen elasticated breastplates fit my boy! had a jeffries point didnt fit am gutted!

Extra full ones are all ugly!

Oh my word, what's with all the anti-Masta peeps?!?!? Mastas are the only brand that WILL fit my girl; a Masta rug would have been 2nd on my list on the Would-Haves!!!!

On the rug front, it would have to be Amigo rugs for me....althought like Kal, I have had very bad experiences with Pessoa saddles in the past

However, in terms of one thing I will NEVER buy, it has to be a nylon headcollar. Never, never, never

Ditto the Masta rugs (although not a fan of weatherbeta either) love Mark Todd and Horseware.

I don't think I'd buy a IFOR again, I brought a 510 brand new, but it rusted, and the plastic seals came off (of they're own accord) pretty quick.

Masta turnout rugs. Their stable rugs are fine, but other than that I would always stick with weatherbeeta and rambo.

Mountain horse boots. They rubbed my feet to bits, were heavy and split after 6 month's (summer) wear.

Masta rugs. They slip & rub like anything.

Westropp brushing boots - RUBBISH!
Roma saddlecloths - RUBBISH!
Kincade bridles - RUBBISH!

Cotton leadropes - buy a nylon plaited one, the cotton ones drive me up the wall...

Happy mouth straight bars with those stupid nobbley things - just use rubber or go the whole hog for a nathe - why can't they be real straight bars?

God, there are so many rubbish horsey things i've bought that I can't think of...

Oh - conventional buckets. Tub trugs every time!
