OK what feed shall I buy tomorrow for these horses..

Off to feed merchant tomorrow, really need to sort out feed for:
Ellie; 15.3hh 12 years Irish mare. Laminitic, recently recovered from plant poisoning and returning to work. Currently getting 2 feeds of speedibeet and happy hoof but although looking generally OK, is too ribby.
Dot; c 15hh IDx yearling, looks a good weight at the moment but want to feed her something suitable for her age. Both on Pink Powder supplement. Any advice appreciated!

Alfa a oil....or alfa beet

Second the Alfa with oil, but would suggest speedibeet instead of alfa beet - it has a higher DE but is low in sugar and starch so brill for the laminitic. Both will also be good for the yearling as there will be good calcium and protein levels in the diet. Keep up with the Pink Powder though.

make sure they are rugged up with lots ablib hay, otherwise that feed sounds about right!
