Okay, so nobody lent me £3500. How about £2000?

After nobody lending me £3500 the other day for a horse I liked, I thought I would go for a slightly smaller ammount

How about £2000?

Yeah he is good thanks. Soo much happier at his new yard - both me and him!
He now thinks he is a daddy... to an 18 month section A colt! The little colt trots alongside him like he would to his mum. It's adorable.
Hows your grey pest doing?

Lol! I'm suprised the little colt isn't taking refuge from this weather under him!

He's doing good thanks, starting to behave

He is more than likely standing at the gate waiting for me though

Where did you move in the end if you don't mind me asking?

The colt doesn't - but the two sh1tlands he sometimes shares with do!
Aww bless. Somebody doesn't like the cold weather then I'm guessing...? Got any plans for him this winter?
Nope, don't mind at all. Moved to a tiny yard just south of Maidstone. It's less of a livery yard and more a private yard. The YM has 6 horses, so it's cheaper for her to rent a yard, and get a couple of liveries in to help cover costs. It's just her 6 and Fella there atm as she only moved there a couple of months ago, but a couple of horses I know are coming to stay on grass livery over the winter as there field is so poached its ridiculous and we have more than enough grazing (7 inches high in some places! I might be lucky and not have to hay at all this winter there is so much grass! Fingers crossed...)

Ooh sounds ideal, no wonder you love it!

Our fields were looking pretty good until about a week ago and another horse came and has promptly caused complete chaos and destroyed them all

So we've had to open up the bottom fields which they gallop flat out to every morning, leaving me to stand there wincing and waiting for one of them to go flying!

He doesn't so much mind the cold, just the downpour

Fella doesn't like the rain either, he tells me he melts in the rain. Soon as it becomes more than drizzle, he will stand in the middle of the field shivering! Silly boy. So he has a no fill rug on to keep the rain off, but his winter coat is FINALLY coming through, so he is nice and warm.
Oh no! Thats the thing I hate about winter - mud, especially muddy gateways. They are soo dangerous. Accidents waiting to happen. Fingers crossed there aren't any this winter!
It is pretty much perfect, yeah. Bonfleur xc course is about a miles hack away, duckhurst is just down the road and there is a toll ride with xc jumps all around the village. The only 'downside' is there isn't a sand school, but that isn't a downside to me as Fella is too big to work properly in one. There is a riding field though, which is big enough for him, so for me, it's actually an advantage!
