Here she is trying to look majestic. Picture taken late afternoon today. :)

Ooh... So much choice! I'd love:

Dolly (both!)
Fergs
Frodo
Rauti
Delicia (& baby)
YP
Shy
The beaauuutiful coloured that always crops up in weightloss threads because the transformation was amazing - think the poster's name begins with T and has numbers at the end... Anyone recognising who I mean?
CS
Fig.
Except I'm not sure I'm good enough to own (or even sit on!) these horses so I'll have to settle for drooling over their pictures instead. :p

Gosh that list was longer than intended - sorry! Got a bit carried away :D

There also used to be a girl posting pics of a stunning Fjord and a chestnut called Billy (from the Netherlands I think) - I know she turned out be a fraud but still, those horses were something else. Utterly stunning!

Sticking with my horse! martys super :)

I am with you ^5 I will stick to my own and the 2 I mentioned above.
Mine are never mentioned they must have horns, so I will stick to mine don't want anybody Else's.
Yas 's Crystal was a beautiful mare.
and Egg's foal Bijou is Bri's last remaining foal and Bri was Diamonds best friend.

Aye, mine must have horns as well. I'll stick with her, though!

I always find threads like this are very much like the Eurovision Song Contest.

I think they are a fairly accurate indication of how often someone writes about and posts pictures of their horse.

I don't say much about mine because while I think she is the best horse in the world, I think my horsey life is decidedly boring to anyone but me. I show up at the barn, do a bit of dressage, a bit of trail riding, maybe a bit of jumping. Rinse repeat ad nauseum. It's a good thing, really, because it means I don't have horsey problems (knock on wood) to moan about on the internet. But as said, I think it's of little interest to anyone else.

Perhaps another thing about people named in these threads is that they have the skills and can be bothered to make their horsey lives interesting to HHO users.

What do you mean skills???

My profile has my skills or some of them not all are posted as I choose not to state all my qualifications and experience down.

H & H is definitely not what you know its who you know.

I don't mean horsemanship skills. I mean skills and lets face it, primarily motivation, at posting lots of pictures and/or videos of your horse on the forum and writing about it or presenting it in an interesting enough way to get people to read it. And I don't mean being the Ernest Hemingway of horsey prose, either, far from it (especially as most people are not), but some folk do seem to be better than others at getting people to read their "look at pics of my horsey" threads. So there must be something to the presentation.

That said, I do think it's mostly a factor of volume.

Sticking with my bunch ;)

People on here dont know me, I recognise names but don't really come on enough to know their horses. ive seen pictures of some horses that dont really float my boat but beauty is in the eye of the beholder hence sticking with my little gang of beauties :D

I would post more of my animals but I find there are too many who strip loads from photos posted. I have seen it with others where they have just shared their pictures and some have torn strips from the horse /tack etc. That is why i wont post any more pictures now.

What really bugs me is when people ask for advice etc. So you write a lengthy post to help them. The post you write is what you know/ experienced / trained to do so. Then the OP says is no one going to help?? like your post is invisible or only when a clicky comes in do they say thank you and ignore the post you wrote.

I mean why ask?? if you don't read what others respond with:confused::confused:

Leviathan, why have you decided to turn this thread sour? I don't read some of what you write because it often doesn't make sense and that isn't down to your literacy skills.

I like to hear from people who are either funny, upbeat or people who have interesting things to share. You're always on a downer - and complaining
